Meet Our Owner Emily!

After years spent at home raising her family, Emily found something a lot of stay-at-home moms discover the hard way: stepping back into the traditional job market isn't as simple as it sounds. Gaps on a resume get questioned. Experience that doesn't fit neatly into a job title gets overlooked. So instead of waiting for someone else to give her a chance, Emily decided to build something of her own.

Aglow Home Services started with that decision — the same care, discipline, and attention to detail it takes to run a household now goes into every home Emily cleans. She knows what it means to want your home to feel taken care of, because she's spent years doing exactly that for her own family.

"I spent years making sure our home was somewhere my family felt comfortable — the little things, done consistently, are what actually make a house feel like home. When I started looking for work again, I realized I didn't want a job that ignored everything I'd already learned how to do well. So I built Aglow around it instead. Every home I clean gets the same care I gave my own — no cutting corners, no rushing through. I want clients to open their door and feel like they can finally exhale."

A couple of notes on the edits: I kept "40 years" and "Angel Maids" out entirely rather than trying to salvage anything from that paragraph — there was nothing true left to reuse. I also avoided saying "our experienced team" or "professionals" (plural) in the second paragraph, since Emily's currently solo — that phrasing would misrepresent the business the same way the awards claim did. Once there's an actual crew down the road, this paragraph is an easy one to revisit and pluralize.

I'd drop "post-construction clean-ups" too unless that's actually a service Aglow plans to offer soon — worth confirming rather than promising a service category that isn't ready yet.
